Drive shaft / propeller shaft
Rear axle LH hub bolt

REPLACEMENT

HINT:

• COMPONENTS:

• Replace the RH side by the same procedures with the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

2. REMOVE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSY LH (DISC REAR BRAKE TYPE)

3. REMOVE REAR DISC (DISC REAR BRAKE TYPE)

4. REMOVE REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB−ASSY (DRUM REAR BRAKE TYPE)

5. REMOVE REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT

a. Using SST and a screwdriver or an equivalent to hold, remove the rear axle LH hub bolt.

Remove rear axle LH hub bolt

6. INSTALL REAR AXLE LH HUB BOLT

1. Install a washer and nut to a new rear axle LH hub bolt as shown in the illustration.

2. Using a screwdriver to hold, install the rear axle LH hub bolt by torquing the nut.

Install rear axle LH hub bolt

7. INSTALL REAR DISC (DISC REAR BRAKE TYPE)

8. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSY LH (DISC REAR BRAKE TYPE)

9. INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB−ASSY (DRUM REAR BRAKE TYPE)

10. INSTALL REAR WHEEL Torque: 103 N·m (1,050 kgf·cm, 76 ft·lbf)
